Rabbanit Dina Tvila is director of Am Echad Lev Echad - The New Seed Foundation in Safed. She is a social activist, and runs projects for single mothers in northern Israel: the Mechubarot Center for holistic treatment and healing from crisis, and a business hub for professional training and employment. Founded by Tvila in 2007, Mechubarot provides a space for advocacy and creativity where Haredi and newly observant single mothers can express themselves and are given new opportunities for personal and professional growth. Over the past few years, the organization has grown rapidly and has attracted state and municipal support, as well as numerous collaborations with others seeking to apply its model in additional communities. Rabbanit Tvila is a graduate in the Arts and Jewish Psychotherapy, and an emotional healing coach. She is married to Rabbi Yosef Tvila (head of a yeshiva in Safed), and is a mother of ten.
