On the eve of the State of Israel’s 70th Independence Day, representatives of the LivingTogether Task Force gathered at the Independence Hall on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv to read the Declaration of Independence.
The event was a collaboration between the Independence Hall, the LivingTogether Center, BINA – the Jewish Movement for Social Change, and the Declaration of Independence Israeli Talmud Project.
Yael Ne’eman, as the representative of the Board of Directors of LivingTogether, opened the event. During the evening, our task force members and friends from the Diaspora gave their interpretation of the Declaration. Each speaker brought to the event a different and unique voice that reflects his/her worldview and heritage
The mosaic of voices created an exciting and memorable evening for everyone who participated in the event.
