Orit was born and raised in Ramle, a graduate of the Political Science Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and holds a master's degree in social work from Yeshiva University, NY. She specialized in community organization within the JCRC, where she focused on alia, community dialogue, cultural competence and support of multicultural coalitions.
Orit managed the community mediation and dialogue center in Lod. Served as the director of the "Gishurim" program - a headquarters program on behalf of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Services, which constitutes a professional framework for more than 70 local authorities that promote / promote the establishment of mediation and dialogue centers in the community. She is a lecturer in the social work department at the Hebrew University and accompanies the professional development of community social workers in community courts.
Orit also directs the French Hill mission and the Beit Shemesh mission to live together in the community.
Orit lives in Kfar Harif and is the mother of four.
Orit defines her professional motto:
