Prof. Moshe Halbertal

A professor in the Hebrew University’s Jewish Thought and Philosophy programs, Prof. Halbertal is also a member of the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center's law school faculty and a Prof. of Law at NYU’s department of law. In 2010, Halbertal was appointed a member of Israel’s National Academy of Sciences. He teaches Political and Jewish philosophy in the leadership programs of the Mandel School of Leadership in Jerusalem. Prof. Halbertal was involved in the foundation of left-wing religious movements - such as Oz Veshalom and Netivot Shalom - and was active in the Meimad Movement. In addition, Prof. Halbertal was a co-author of the Israeli Army’s Code of Ethics.
