Sagiv Elbaz
[Task Force]

A resident of Jerusalem, Elbaz is the principal of the six-year BeYachad High School, a community school for religious, traditional, and secular students in Modi’in. Before that, he was the principal of Seligsberg Middle School in Jerusalem. Teaching Bible, Hebrew, Israeli culture, and Talmud, Elbaz was a visiting lecturer in the Hebrew University's Revivim Program.
Elbaz holds a B.A. in Jewish Thought and Oral Torah, another B.A. in Psychology, Journalism and Communication and an M.A. in Public Policy from the Hebrew University's program for outstanding students.
A graduate of the Mandel Institute's School of Educational Leadership, Elbaz also participated in the Gvanim Program for school principals, collaborating with the Tzav Piyus organization bridging religious-secular divides. He also graduated from the Atidim Program for cadets of public administration and has an Amit Tzedek Certificate from the social rabbinic school MiMizrach Shemesh.
Elbaz served as a combat soldier and commander in the paratroopers brigade and is a reserve officer. Photography and guiding tours to the Western Wall's tunnels and the City of David are among his hobbies.
