Ali Hawashla
[Task Force]

Married plus four, Hawashla lives in Quasr al Sir and currently manages the Special and Informal Education departments at the Neve Midbar Regional Council. Hawashla has an M.A. in Educational Systems Administration, a B.A. in Special Education, and a teaching certificate for which he re-specialized in Physical Education.
During his teaching career, he initiated many educational projects in the various schools, two of which were the Ministry of Interior-approved summer programs for the Bedouin community, and heading the first Arab youth movement chapter within the Bedouin community. While at the Neve Midbar Regional Council, Hawashla led several projects with The Fellowship Foundation. Among the many programs he was involved in, he helped opening youth movement chapters for Noar Oved Va’lomed (Working and Studying Youth), Hashomer Hatzair, and the Arab Scouts in the Bedouin community.
Hawashla is also a member of the counseling committee to the Ministry of Education's Chotam Program for the Bedouin community, and a member of the executive committee of the Neve Midbar-Nitzana School. Recently, Hawashla has participated in the administrative reserve of Israel's Coalition of Community Centers.
