Married with a daughter, Eligov emigrated from Azerbaijan to Migdal HaEmek in Israel at the age of nine, and has lived there ever since. For the past three years, Eligov has been the head of Migdal HaEmek's education department. With a Bachelor's degree in engineering, industry and management, a Master's degree in educational systems management and development and a teaching certificate in social sciences, she began her professional career in Hi-tech, working as an operations and projects manager. However, in the last fourteen years Eligov has turned to education, believing this was her calling.
Having served as a school attendance officer, Eligov realized that some complimentary system was essential in conventional education, and established a whole division of programs and projects within Migdal HaEmek's education administration.
Currently on the board of directors of the Migdal HaEmek community center, striving to promote the issue of children and youth's culture and leisure activities, Eligov is also a member of a municipal special staff developing community programs.
Among her many hobbies are literature and poetry, cooking, hiking and her all women throw-ball team.
