Malka self-defines as an ultra-Orthodox Mizrachi. Her public work began in the informal education system, as the accountant and deputy-director of the Zichron Yaakov community center, and the accountant of its Economic Corporation.
For the past few years, Malka has been an educational adviser to former minister Eli Yishai, and is currently working in the Atid Network – which develops and promotes social and occupational enterprises in the ultra-Orthodox sector.
She is a graduate of the Mandel Leadership Institute's Shluchei Tzibur Program and a member of the Zichron Yaakov Religious Council Board (the first ultra-orthodox member). She is an active member of the Noar CaHalacha Association, headed by Adv. Yoav Lalum which is dedicated to the eradication of racism. In addition, she is involved in promoting the diversification of seminars’ curricula, collaborations between the Third Sector and the Ministry of Education (especially in technological education) and creating professional training centers for youth and adults in the ultra-orthodox sector.
Malka lives in Zichron Yaakov with her husband and their five children.
