Born in Paris, Klein is of a mixed Ashkenazi and Tunisian descent.
When he was two years old, his family immigrated to Israel, and settled in Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood, where he participated in various activities with the Bnei Akiva Youth Movement. Klein studied at the Shavei Hebron Yeshiva, and did his military service in IDF's Artillery Corps. Towards the end of his service, Klein married Yael and they moved (just for a year…) to Maale Hever, south of Mount Hebron. That year became sixteen years, and for the past seven of them Klein has served as the chairman of Maale Hever's executive committee. An educator who enjoys working with teenagers, he was a youth coordinator for three years, followed by eight years working in the Bnei Akiva youth movement, four of which as the head of its Education Department. After that, Klein was the director of the youth department of Kiryat Arba-Hebron. Currently, Klein is involved in the field of Jewish identity and interface between the secular and communities in Israel, both in the Yachad Association and the Committee for Jewish Identity. Klein has a B.A. in Administration and Public Policy from Sapir College. Every day, he dedicates as much time possible to deepening his Torah and spiritual learning. His pride and joy are his children - Tair, Lavi, Roi, Shir and Gili.
