Head of the Herzog Academic College. Previously, Rabbi Brandeis served as principal of the Himmelfarb Religious High School for Boys in Jerusalem and was head of the Morasha Seminary in Jerusalem.
His books and articles explore Talmud, religious law and tradition, Jewish thought and education. He graduated Yeshivat Hakotel (Wohl Torah Center) and was ordained as a rabbi by the Israel Chief Rabbinate. Has a PhD in Talmud from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
