President of The Feuerstein Institute.Rabbi of the National Religious community in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood. Co-Chair of Tzohar – an organization which seeks to strengthen a shared Jewish identity across all Israeli society.. He has a BA in psychology and philosophy from Hebrew University, Jerusalem and an MA from “Paris 8” University in France.
Over the years and together with his father, Prof. Reuven Feuerstein, he developed methods of intervention and diagnosis and shared in authoring numerous books and articles in cognitive intervention, promoting special needs individuals using the Feuerstein Method, and dynamic diagnosis. Additionally, Rabbi Feuerstein developed methods to reduce and prevent the incidence of human error among pilots, physicians, and senior executives. The past decade has seen him specialize in introducing methods for promoting learning abilities in the Israeli and international education systems, and advancing culturally diverse populations, particularly Jews of Ethiopian origin in Israel, populations in South Africa, and Afro-Americans in the USA.
Rabbi Feuerstein lecturers in Israel and abroad in the fields of education, special needs people, and Judaism. He writes profusely, and is interviewed across a broad range of media outlets locally and internationally on his many areas of interest: promoting education systems, reducing disparities in education, advancing human capacities in general and in special needs individuals in particular, educational policy-making based on the Feuerstein Method, and promoting a shared Jewish identity throughout Israel and the Diaspora.
