Rabbanit Dina Tvila is director of Am Echad Lev Echad - The New Seed Foundation in Tzfat. She is a social activist, and runs projects in the field of social welfare and employment for single mothers in the northern region including Mechubarot Center for holistic treatment and healing from crisis, and a business hub for professional training and employment. Mechubarot, which was founded by Dina in 2007, creates a space for action and creativity where the voices of Haredi and newly observant single mothers are heard and they are given new opportunities for personal and professional growth. The hub offers job training in technology as well as job placement in a field with good earning potential as a way of breaking free of the cycle of poverty and gaining social mobility. The organization has experienced rapid growth in recent years, and attracted state and municipal support and numerous collaborations with bodies seeking to expand this model to additional communities. Rabbanit Tvila is a graduate in the arts and Jewish psychotherapy, and an emotional healing coach employing the IFS model. She is married to Rabbi Yosef Tvila (head of a yeshiva in Tzfat), and is a mother of ten.
