Do. Measure. Learn.

The ability to live together is difficult to measure and quantify, as are the results and the direct impact of Living Together programs and activities. However, we see a great deal of value and importance in developing measurement tools in this unique content world. To that end, Living Together has been developing a unique index from its very first steps, which will be refined over the years. The initial results of the “Living Together Index” were presented last summer during the Living Together Partners Conference. Another index survey will be held in 2020, allowing a comparison between years and examining trends in the quality of living together in Israel. Additionally, it will allow us to refine and improve our programs and activities.

We are currently working on further developing and adjusting the index for future uses, together with ERI, a research and consultancy firm, specializing in the specific needs of the Social Impact Sector. As stated in the opening remarks, first sparks of government interest in the index are already emerging, as a tool assisting decision making.
Finally, we are currently working on developing an index version that is tailored to measure and collect data from participants in short-term Living Together workshops and training processes, in order to continually enlarge our database.
