From Dependency to Stability Developing an Organizational Profit Unit

In recent months, we are focused on strengthening our financial sustainability, both through reaching out to new partners and by developing an organizational profit unit.

This process stems from both the recognition of the changes the social and philanthropic world is undergoing, necessitating an expansion of our income sources in order for us to remain professionally and financially independent, as well as from the realization that there is a serious need in many organizations and systems for the know-how, principles, and practical tools that Living Together offers. An efficient and professional “service selling” system will enable us to provide tailored programs and services, along with essential income.

To that end, we are leading several processes: Rakefet Sholder, Living Together Director of Partnerships, participated in a course by the Mahalach Foundation, training social organizations to develop self-income. At the same time, we completed an organizational process that included mapping services and programs, pricing them, and developing a basis for generating price offers. We are currently in the implementation phase, offering a range of services and programs to various organizations- from lectures, through courses and workshops to an overall ongoing support process. We are thrilled the see the great interest in our work, which illustrates the necessity in the field, and we are extremely pleased with the many opportunities for collaboration with different organizations wishing to promote living together while strengthening our economic stability.
