Task Force field-trip to Cyprus
In March 2018, the Task Force held a field-trip to Cyprus to learn how the Cypriots handle the dispute between the two peoples on the island. The group left behind the local space for a different reality that is still close to Israel. During the trip, the Task Force members met with activists and leaders from both the Greek and Turkish sides. Removing ourselves from the intensive immersion in “our story” to hear a “different story,” opened our hearts and minds to continue working, thinking, and planning what other things can be done to help the LivingTogether Center move forward in Israel.
