David Meidan is a businessman specializing in international technology marketing, and a partner in several startups. He also volunteers and involved in various social fields. He served in the Mossad for thirty years, holding various operational roles in Israel and abroad, the last being Head of the International Division. He was appointed by the Prime Minister’s as the representative to negotiations over the release of Gilad Shalit, as a result of which his activities became known publicly.
David, born and raised in Tel Aviv, is married, a father of two daughters and grandfather of four children.
