Deputy Director of BINA – the Jewish Movement for Social Change, Braudo is in charge of the organization's chain of yeshivot, and heads the secular yeshiva in Tel Aviv.
He has a B.A. in Talmud from Tel Aviv University and an M.A. (cum laude) in Public Policy from the Hebrew University. He was an emissary for the World Zionist Organization in San Francisco, where he coordinated the organization's activities in North America, organized programs for the Israeli community in Silicon Valley, and was a co-founder of the MiShelanu Program for second-generation Israelis. Prior to that, Braudo was a founder and director of BINA’s Neighborhoods Department. . As part of his work, Braudo has led various public campaigns, as well as writing and participating in several television and radio shows.
A major in the IDF reserves, until recently he served as a deputy battalion commander in the infantry.
Nir is married to Noa and they live with their two sons, Saul and Itamar, in Ramat Gan.
